Easter is a time of Joy and Salvation!

Good Friday was a day we see our Lord take away our sins. To be the Lamb of God, to cover us in His blood like the blood of the lamb covering the doorposts, caused the Angel of Death to pass over Israel in Egypt. This saving action saved us from our sins and allows the Heavens to be opened up for the Children of God. Easter is the rising of Jesus from the dead, the proof of His ascension into Heaven, and taking His place at the right hand of the Father. It is Jesus coming in His Glory. He has now won! defeated death and opened the Heavens for all who died before He came, and after. Creating a new covenant in His blood, returning man to being connected to God. We become the temple of the Holy Spirit.
