Prayer for God's Patience

Daily Prayer:  Father, my Father. You have set this world in motion, the grandness of your plan. We humans question your plan when it does not meet our expectations. So selfish are we, we cannot see it. Why we must suffer things like earthquakes, and floods. We think you have personally inflicted hardship on us, when often it is just the world recreating itself and following your plan for life to spring up. We must have our way. Isn't that the whole problem? Instead of living in your truth, we deny it for something we desire instead. What kind of sin is it to reject the truth? Please forgive our blindness and strong wills. Give us a heart to accept what we cannot change, and live in the truth. Amen.
