Prayer for the darkness

We walk in darkness, oh Lord.  We must seek your light or continue to walk in darkness. Those who have accepted the light know what true darkness is. Those lost in the dark do not know how dark it is. How can they? They can only compare dark with dark. Moving into the light is the only way to know deeply how dark the darkness is. Reveal the light to the world, oh Lord, and help me be part of it! Amen.
